What?s Edit My Site Online?
Edit My Site Online is a web-based system that lets your
customers edit the text of their site and place graphics on
their pages-anytime, anywhere (well, almost anywhere, you
have to use a Windows-based computer and be connected to the
web).
Anyone who can use a word processor can edit the text and
graphics on their site-and changes appear instantly. No
waiting for someone else to do it, or for files to update.
Click "Save" the revised content is live.
Edit My Site Online is safe because customers edit only portions of the page you've specified in advance. For
example, on this page, Edit My Site Online edits the text
you're reading right now-but not the navigation along the
top.
Customers can't accidentally "mess up" the entire page or
site, and our unique history feature lets you revert to any
of the last five versions of the content.
Edit My Site Online has two services that work together: Pages and Image Space. Pages are blocks of text up to 65K.
You can add up to 5 MB of images from your Image Space to
this block of text. We always host the text, but you can
save money by using your own web space to host images.
When you resell our service (or assign pages to others),
your customers login at a separate site devoted solely to
editing. This means their home page is their login page--and
there's no information about sales or pricing. You can
rebrand their editing pages with your name and choice of
colors.
Your clients get the same easy editing experience--yet
they'll think it came directly from you, since there's no
mention of Edit My Site Online.
