Managing Users and Subscriptions
If you're reselling Edit My Site Online services or is an administrator of other users, the below tutorial will tell you everything interesting there is to know about managing users, their accounts and content.

Users and Subscriptions

The basics

1)

Go to your "My Services" page.

2)

Click on "Add a new page" to add a page

3)

Give your page a name.

4)

Copy the HTML script that looks like this:

<script src="http://www.editmysiteonline.com/e/page.cfm?ID=71f135ff34714f0d8594602b2036717d"></script>

5)

Go into your web design program. Paste the HTML script where the content goes. Save the page

6)

Edit the content in Edit My Site Online. This editor is similar to Microsoft Word.

The following may not work on all computers, but if the text already appears on a web page, select it in the browser and choose Edit/Copy. Then click inside the Edit My Site Online editor and click on the Paste button or press ^V (control + V). The content will be pasted into the editor, formatting and all.

If the graphics on the page are already on a web server, the editor will remember their location and you'll see them in the editor.

If the graphics were on your hard disk, you'll see a box the size of the graphic. Inside the box will be a red X (meaning that the graphic isn't available on the web). Select the box and delete it. Click on the "insert image" icon to upload the image from your hard disk and place it into the content.

7)

Choose Save Changes. You must do this, or your changes are not saved.

8)

Upload the page from your site building program the way you usually do.

When you view the page in your browser you'll see your page, and the content you've edited on Edit My Site Online.
